No. This SnapFence® Wall Topper Kit is designed to be installed on top of an existing wall or similar structure. It is not a ground-installed fence and is not intended to stand alone in soil. If you need a ground-installed fence, choose a SnapFence® In-Ground Fence Frame Kit instead.

This wall topper adds approximately 17 inches of height. It is designed to add decorative privacy, curb appeal, and screening to an existing wall. It is not a 4 ft. tall fence. For a taller fence or screen, choose one of the SnapFence® 4 ft. frame kits.

Yes. This wall topper is sold as a complete wall-topper kit for this application. It is different from the SnapFence® 4 ft. frame-only kits, where lattice, hardware cloth, wire, or decorative panels are purchased separately.

No. Wall-mounting fasteners are not included because the correct fastener depends on the surface you are attaching to, such as wood, brick, concrete, block, or composite material. Use fasteners appropriate for your wall material and installation conditions.

Layout and Alignment

Before fully tightening, lay out and align all bottom rails along the wall or fence line. Make sure the rails are straight and the 90-degree joints are butted tightly together.

Drilling the Anchor Holes

Drill the anchor holes through the bottom rail / connector locations. Drill each hole to the depth required by the anchor manufacturer. Clean dust and debris from each hole before inserting anchors.

Starting the Anchors

Start the anchors by hand or with a ratchet wrench just enough to hold the rails in place. Do not fully tighten yet.

Final Tightening

Once all bottom rails are started and the full run is straight, switch to the proper hex nut driver / socket. Tighten the anchors gradually along the entire run, moving from anchor to anchor instead of fully tightening one location at a time.

Continue checking that the bottom rails stay straight and the 90-degree joints remain tight against each other.

Tighten until secure. Do not over-tighten, as over-tightening can damage the anchor’s hold or pull the rails out of alignment.

Always follow the anchor manufacturer’s installation instructions for the specific wall material and fastener being used.
