DIY Shoe Rack / Storage Bench by Positively Beautiful Life

We set out to find some of the most unique custom SnapFence projects. Amanda at Positively Beautiful Life had the perfect idea! She designed this project to fit pin her entryway and serve the purpose of both a shoe rack and bench. We love how she snapped it all together and finished it with white wood planks to match her space. 

Plans for this project are available for free on her site. However creating your own DIY plans are simple! You can download our design planner for a step-by-step- guide in creating your SnapFence® project, or for a more complex project you can request custom plans, and one of our designers can spec everything out for you.

Assembly is simple! The only tools used for this project were for the wood finish. However, SnapFence® projects can be finished with a variety of materials to achieve your desired look. We like to use cement board (aka backer board) as a barrier between the frame and finishes such as cement, stucco, stacked stone veneer, wood, or tile.
